CPR Chiefs 0 vs Reeves Rangers 1

The match was an important league clash with the Reeves in 2nd place and the Chiefs in 3rd.

The match started well with the chiefs making some good attacking play and the Reeves playing with a defensive 4 back plays and 2 attackers. Midway through the 1st half, while the journalist was ensuring his younger son was OK in the under 7s, the Rangers scored (0-1). The remainder of the 1st half was blighted by two bad fouls and a pitch side incident.

The Chiefs played some great attacking football and were clearly the better football team in the second half. Following yet another foul from a Reeve’s player, Sam W had a fabulous free kick that just crept over the bar.

The game finished with a disappointing score 0-1 but the Chiefs played extremely well and we cannot complain about that.
